Job description

To organise and control the instrumentation department in order to ensure that plant maintenance is carried out to acceptable standards to ensure high plant availability and Instrumentation reliability.

Key activities

  1. Reduced faults related to control and Instrumentation equipment failure
  2. Optimised boiler and turbine control systems
  3. Minimal incidents and accidents
  4. Availability and quality of supplies and spares
  5. Trained and motivated staff

Education required

  1. Degree in Electronics and Electrical Engineering or equivalent


Experience required

  1. At least five (5) years post qualification experience in Control and Instrumentation systems in a power plant environment
